you sort of seem to be saying you "HATE" ??... i'm not sure, iko iko? FRENCH????????

to my noggin the "culture of new orleans" you are referring to is CREOLE in nature -- a mix of different cultures, religions, language, music, cooking and so on.... not really Caribbean, though that geographic are is a CULTURAL DETONATION ZONE, one of the primary ones of the last 500 plus years that has more or less shaped the western hemisphere, politically and culturally and of course influenced the development of the new orleans creole.

so i guess i am not sure what you are trying to say? it seems like you are just blowing smoke or are kind of ignorant. whether you like this style of music, or IKO IKO or not is all a little immaterial anyway.

because uncle jerry likes it jus' fine!

ya, its "tell the bossman he can kiss my fat ass"

•1 boneless beef roast, about 3 to 4 pounds (rump, top round, lean chuck, etc.)
•3 cups water
•1 cup cider vinegar
•2 tablespoons brown sugar, firmly packed
•1 (14 oz.) bottle ketchup
•2 lg. onions, quartered
•salt and pepper to taste
•3 whole cloves
•3 bay leaves
•1 heaping tsp. mixed pickling spices

Combine all ingredients except meat in slow cooker. Stir to blend ingredients. Add beef roast to mixture, coating with mixture. Cover and cook on LOW for 10 to 12 hours.
